president obama -- mitt romney leading president obama. mr. obama takes several interviews at the white house including one with mtv. meanwhile, romney was an ohio today, where he and the president are battling in the polls. romney has canceled an event at virginia beach on sunday because of hurricane sandy concerns. some fairfax county voters are complaining about what could potentially be a big problem with the voting machines. but is a a mechanical problem or a human error? jeff what is the story? >> disch here in fairfax county, the highest level of registered voters ever. both campaigns are competing hard to get voters on their side. democrats are alleging there are also problems with the voting machines. the county, though, is holding its ground. and every vote counts. >> the question in fairfax county is not whether every vote counts but whether they are being counted correctly. >> it is very straightforward. >> many voters lining up to cast in person absentee ballots are using electronic voting machines. >> it is much better than any other way. anybody can read can do this. tota
